The wonderful Cleveland International Film Festival is back celebrating its 32nd year. By popular demand, the fine folks who put the fest together have decided to bring back last year's successful "Pacific Pearls" which is set to bring 15 films from all over Asia to Cleveland. This year's tour through Asia brings films from Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Philippines. While the festival brings some film festival giants such as the latest from Takeshi Kitano and Hitoshi Matsumoto's directorial debut, CIFF also introduces some lesser known films to a much wider audience.

Here is a breakdown of what the festival has to offer:

3 Days to Forever - Indonesia
Bing Ai - China
Dai Nipponjin - Japan
Dead Time - Indonesia
Flash Point - Hong Kong
Foster Child - Philippines
Glory to the Filmmaker! - Japan
Island Etude - Taiwan
Little Moth - China
Slingshot - Philippines
Summer Heat - Philippines
The Teacher - Philippines
The Teeth of Love - China

Also included in this year's festivities is Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-hsien's Flight of the Red Balloon and a Canadian funded documentary entitled Up the Yangtze by Chinese filmmaker Yung Chang.

For more information on what other exciting films are playing at the festival, head on over to the Cleveland International Film Festival website.
