The Cleveland International Film Festival returns March 6th through the 16th

The wonderful Cleveland International Film Festival
is back celebrating its 32nd year. By popular demand, the fine folks who put the
fest together have decided to bring back last year's successful "Pacific Pearls"
which is set to bring 15 films from all over Asia to Cleveland. This year's tour
through Asia brings films from Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and
the Philippines. While the festival brings some film festival giants such as the
latest from Takeshi Kitano and Hitoshi Matsumoto's directorial
debut, CIFF also introduces some lesser known films to a much wider
audience.

Also included in this
year's festivities is Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-hsien's Flight of
the Red Balloon and a Canadian funded documentary entitled Up the
Yangtze by Chinese filmmaker Yung Chang.
